I will learn phrases in chinese and be ready to have tons of fun.
ReplyDelete1. Try to eat various kinds of chinese foods to get used to the food. If you have never eaten chinese food before, start now so you don't get "culinary culture shock"
ReplyDelete2. If possible, learn a few basic phrases in Mandarin like "Hello", "Thank You", and "Nice to meet you"
3. Learn some facts about the places we will go to on the trip
4. Finally, try to experiment with being a tourist by going on a day trip in a large town the you don't go to normally. It gives a good feel for what it's like to be in a new city.
I will review some Mandarin, and eat AUTHENTIC Chinese food, which is hard to find. I will learn about the culture, so as not to get stuck in super awkward situations, and so I don't get lost and suddenly find myself in Nepal. I will pack. I will possibly get a haircut. I will hope for a rad prize.
